{"id":509,"date":"2009-07-16T22:04:28","date_gmt":"2009-07-17T03:04:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.stephenpickering.com\/?p=509"},"modified":"2011-12-05T20:50:47","modified_gmt":"2011-12-06T01:50:47","slug":"how-to-find-saved-passwords-in-safari-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stephenpickering.com\/wordpress\/2009\/07\/16\/how-to-find-saved-passwords-in-safari-4\/","title":{"rendered":"How to Find Saved Passwords in Safari 4"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you can\u2019t remember a password for a website (or anything else for that matter), all your passwords are saved in the <strong>Keychain Access<\/strong> utility (which probably isn\u2019t news to you), but the cool thing is you can do a Spotlight search from right within Keychain to quickly find the password you\u2019re looking for.<\/p>\n<p>Start by looking inside your <strong><em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Applications<\/span><\/em><\/strong> folder for the <strong><em><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Utilities<\/span><\/em><\/strong> folder, and inside of that double-click on <strong><em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Keychain Access<\/span><\/em><\/strong>. When it opens you\u2019ll see a search field in the upper-right corner. Type the name of the site you\u2019re looking for, and it will appear.
