But who hasn&#8217;t been<br \/>\nblinded by someone lifting up her dress?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Such great danger and awe of beauty.<br \/>\nI&#8217;m unsure, the way children are<br \/>\nin the presence of a candle.<br \/>\nIntuitively they whisper, then-<br \/>\nwell, I don&#8217;t wish to blow it out.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">All our lives, wet logs in a fire,<br \/>\ndesire is under control.<br \/>\nI&#8217;ve allowed myself to ask for beauty<br \/>\nand like beauty it&#8217;s unfair.<br \/>\nGood, we&#8217;re even.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The phenomenon of combustion means<br \/>\nno one is positively sure.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">-Jack Myers from the volume &#8220;I&#8217;m Amazed That You&#8217;re Still Singing&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I imagine the idea of a dress was stolen from a flower in the year fire was discovered.
