\nthe little lecterns take their places in the scene.<\/p>\n

Washing Mary cold and foot,
\nthe diesel engines blast down to the blessed root.
\nActual fire stretches the islands leg,
\nand individual pieces can only stray out and beg.<\/p>\n

It wasn’t their fault in the beginning.
\nThey thought this ritual had an ending.
\nA pitied the boy dressed up in a mask
\nHe answered questions that no one had the courage to ask.<\/p>\n
